Did you know that 20 percent of the Miami Dade population is under the age of 18? That means in 3 weeks, when school is officially done for the summer, there will be close to 400,000 kids under the age of 18 looking for things to do and while the summer temperatures will only continue to rise throughout June and July, many may choose to swim in the public pools.
Although there are several summer swim activities like the beach and splash parks like Jungle Island’s Aquapark, many choose to swim at their local public pool. It’s close to home so if you don’t drive you can ride your bike to it, costs are low, there are lifeguards and many are in parks where there is much more to do than just swim.
There are only 12 public pools in Miami. Twelve pools to service all those kids, many of whom will have chaperones, so realistically the number of people that could potentially swim is even higher. With that level of foot traffic the public pools must be cleaned and all pumps and motors maintained on a regular basis.
Swimming is big business all your round in South Florida and our facility is equipped with the appropriate equipment and a large inventory of replacement parts to keep your downtime to a minimum.
