Pentair's Sta-Rite / Berkeley / Myers, Goulds, Franklin Electric, MDM Sequence and many other pump companies rely on Baldor to power their products. Ensuring the high quality and reliability they expect from their pump is important to the manufacturer, Baldor and Dade Pump. Established in 1960 - Dade Pump is an authorized distributor, repair and warranty center for Baldor motors.
Baldor manufactures a wide variety of electric motors for pumps, compressors and general purpose applications. Commercial and large residential irrigation pumps are typically outfitted with a 3 or 5 HP Baldor Motor available in both single and three phase options with ODP or TEFC enclosures. The Pentair D Series and LTM / LTH pumps are commonly repaired and sold at Dade Pump & Supply / De Ruiter Electric Motor Company. The manufacturer will put their sticker on the motor (as seem in the Berkeley pump image) but it is a Baldor motor.
