The Flomatic 160100SC BPP back pressure sustaining pilot is a direct-acting, spring-loaded diaphragm pilot control valve designed to automatically maintain a minimum inlet pressure. This pilot operates hydraulically and can also be configured for use as a pressure relief pilot.
Specifications:
Valve Type: Back pressure sustaining pilot / pressure relief pilot
Size: ⅜"
Material: 316 stainless-steel
Spring Range: 2–35 PSI
Operation: Direct acting, spring-loaded diaphragm
Max Pressure: 400 PSI
Max Temperature: 180°F (80°C)
Weight: 2.0 lbs
Operation: The BPP pilot maintains a preset minimum upstream pressure by modulating open or closed as system conditions change. When used as a relief pilot, it opens to discharge excess pressure once the setpoint is exceeded.
Construction: Constructed of corrosion-resistant 316 stainless-steel with precision internal components, the BPP pilot is designed for reliable performance and long service life in automatic control valve systems.
Applications: Used as a pilot control component on Flomatic automatic control valves for back pressure sustaining or pressure relief service in municipal, commercial, and industrial water systems.
Flomatic Quality: Flomatic pilot controls are engineered to meet demanding water system requirements and are built for dependable performance as part of complete automatic control valve assemblies.
