Flomatic 2045-1 508 4" Ball Check Valve

The Flomatic 2045-1 508 4" ball check valve is a heavy-duty sewage check valve designed to help prevent backflow in wastewater and slurry applications. This model features an epoxy-coated ductile iron body with a resilient seat and a corrosion-resistant phenolic sinking ball for dependable service in demanding pump and pipeline environments.

Operation: Under forward flow, the ball lifts to allow passage; when flow stops or reverses, the ball returns to the seat to minimize reverse flow. The phenolic “sinking ball” is designed to provide reliable seating in sewage and suspended-solids service.

Construction: The epoxy-coated ductile iron body provides strength and corrosion protection. A resilient seat supports positive shutoff, and the phenolic sinking ball offers corrosion resistance. Serviceability is supported by the access design: Two-bolt access cover for in-line service.
