Flomatic 2145-2 408² 4" Ball Check Valve

The Flomatic 2145-2 408² 4" ball check valve is designed especially for use with sewage pumps and applications involving viscous liquids or slurries. The ball has sufficient weight to seat tightly in high-viscosity liquids while opening freely to help minimize headloss.

Operation: Flomatic ball check valves permit flow in one direction only and are tight seated when the outlet pressure exceeds the inlet pressure.

Installation: Ball check valves may be installed horizontally or vertically, with preferred installation in the vertical position. Install with the flow arrow in the direction of flow. If installed horizontally, the cover must be oriented to the top. Do not subject ball check valves to freezing conditions.

Construction: The epoxy-coated ductile iron body provides strength and corrosion protection. The Buna-N covered metal sinking ball and resilient seating components support dependable shutoff in sewage and solids-handling service. Stainless steel bolts and fasteners support long-term durability in wet environments.

Applications: Sewage lift stations, wastewater pumping, stormwater systems, sump and solids-handling service, and industrial piping where dependable backflow protection is required.
