The Flomatic 4182E 1 1/2" M x 1 1/4" F 333DPE Enviro foot valve is a spring-loaded foot valve designed to help maintain pump prime, prevent backflow, and protect suction lines from debris. This model features a Nitrile (Buna-N) seal, a high-strength acetal poppet, a stainless-steel spring and internal hardware, and a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel strainer. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 250 psi and a maximum temperature of 180°F (80°C).

Specifications:

Operation: Flomatic foot valves are designed to provide years of trouble-free operation without maintenance when properly sized and installed in a suitable pumping application with respect to flow and maximum system pressure. The internal spring-loaded poppet closes quickly to reduce reverse flow, water hammer, and loss of prime, while the integral strainer helps keep larger debris out of the suction line.

Construction: The Flomatic 333DPE Enviro foot valve body is engineered to handle the stated system flow and pressure while helping to maintain pump prime between starts and stops. The valve design also helps absorb some of the hydraulic water shocks commonly associated with well and booster pumping systems when used in accordance with recommended installation practices.

The foot valve screen protects the valve, pump, and system piping from harmful debris. The screen slides over the valve body and is secured in place, acting as a coarse filter for larger particles. The high-flow screen design provides a large open area to minimize head loss, and the screen assembly can be removed for cleaning or replacement as needed.

The stainless-steel spring, hardware, and strainer provide excellent resistance to corrosion and wear in demanding water system environments.

Applications: Residential and light commercial wells, irrigation systems, water transfer, and general utility pumping systems.

Model 4182E 333DPE features a dual-purpose male x female threaded body for flexible installation.
