Flomatic 4304E 6SE 2" Bronze Strainer (Foot Valve Conversion)

The Flomatic 4304E 6SE 2" bronze strainer is a heavy-duty Enviro Check® inlet screen designed for use on the suction side of a pump, foot valve, or check valve. Built with an unleaded bronze body and a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel perforated screen, the 6SE strainer helps prevent debris from entering the pumping system while maintaining generous open area for smooth flow. Selected models use a composite end cap while larger sizes feature a bronze cap for added strength. All models include stainless-steel fasteners and are rated for a maximum temperature of 180°F (82°C) and a maximum pressure of 250 psi (18 bar).

Operation: The 6SE strainer is installed at the inlet of a check valve or pump suction line to intercept larger solids before they can reach the pumping equipment. The stainless-steel perforated screen provides ample open area to minimize restriction while protecting internal components from debris accumulation. The threaded FNPT design allows easy removal for inspection or cleaning once the system has been isolated and depressurized.

Construction: Each 6SE model is constructed with an unleaded bronze upper body for strength and corrosion resistance in water system service. The stainless-steel screen is mechanically fastened with stainless-steel screws and supported by either a composite or bronze lower cap, depending on size.
