The Flomatic 3387BFPI 10" Model 745BFPI Flo-Flex® swing check valve combines a 45° seat, Class 150 flanged swing check valve with an integrated backflush device and external position indicator for easy monitoring of valve disc position. This model is intended for demanding pumping applications and includes spring-assisted closure (Surge-Stopper®) to help reduce reverse flow and mitigate water hammer in high-head, long pipeline systems. Construction includes an epoxy-coated ductile iron body and cover with a Buna-N coated Flo-Flex® disc, and corrosion-resistant hardware for long service life. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 250 PSI and a maximum temperature of 140°F (60°C).

Specifications:

Standard: AWWA C508

Body & Cover: Epoxy-coated ductile iron

Disc: Flo-Flex® 45° seat, Buna-N coated

Max Pressure: 250 PSI

Max Temperature: 140°F (60°C)

Flange Rating: ASME Class 150

Connection: 10" Flanged, ASME 150#

Weight: 362 lbs

Operation: During forward flow, the disc opens to allow full flow through the valve. As flow decelerates and reverses, the Flo-Flex® disc closes smoothly on the 45° seat to reduce slam and hydraulic shock. The Surge-Stopper® spring-assisted mechanism is designed to accelerate closure in long pipeline systems to help reduce pressure surges. The external position indicator provides a visual reference of disc position for operational checks.

Construction: Heavy-duty epoxy-coated ductile iron construction with a Buna-N coated Flo-Flex® disc supports reliable sealing and long service life. Stainless-steel fasteners and corrosion-resistant components enhance durability in municipal and industrial water systems. Integrated backflush and position indicator components are designed for field service and operational visibility.

Applications: Municipal water and wastewater systems, pump stations, long transmission mains, irrigation systems, and high-head pumping applications where backflush capability, disc-position visibility, and controlled closure are beneficial.

Flomatic Quality: Flomatic valves are engineered and manufactured to deliver dependable performance, durability, and long service life in critical pumping applications.
