Flomatic 2420XTF 812XTF 1/2" Stainless Steel Foot Valve

The Flomatic 2420XTF 1/2" 812XTF stainless steel foot valve is a high-performance spring-assisted foot valve designed for demanding water and process applications where corrosion resistance and elevated temperature capability are important. This model features an all 316 stainless steel body and internal components, a threaded female NPT connection, metal-to-metal seating, and a Teflon O-ring. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and a maximum temperature of 400°F (200°C).

Operation: The 812XTF foot valve is installed at the end of a suction line to help maintain pump prime and prevent backflow when the pump is shut down. The internal spring-assisted poppet and metal-to-metal seating provide quick, positive closure as flow reverses, helping to limit backflow and protect upstream equipment. When forward flow resumes, the valve opens smoothly to restore flow through the suction line.

Construction: All 316 stainless steel construction provides excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion in aggressive water, process, and industrial environments. The metal-to-metal seating and Teflon O-ring support tight shutoff and high-temperature operation, while the stainless-steel screen helps keep larger debris from entering the suction piping.
