The Flomatic 2438S6 888S6 8" silent wafer-style check valve is a spring-loaded, center-guided check valve designed for quiet, non-slam operation in variable flow and VFD-controlled pumping systems. This model features an all 316 stainless-steel body, poppet, and seat with a metal-to-metal seating design that is not drip-tight.
