The Flomatic 2432S6R 888S6R 2 1/2" silent wafer-style check valve is a spring-loaded, center-guided check valve designed to provide quiet, non-slam operation in variable flow and VFD-controlled pumping systems. This model features an all 316 stainless-steel body, poppet, and seat with an EPDM resilient seal for drip-tight performance.

Operation: As flow decreases, the spring-loaded poppet begins to close and fully seats at zero velocity, reducing reverse flow and minimizing water hammer.
