Flomatic Glen-Flo® GF3500 GFAVB 3/4" Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker (ASSE 1001)

The Flomatic Glen-Flo® GF3500 GFAVB 3/4" atmospheric vacuum breaker is designed to protect potable water systems from back-siphonage conditions caused by negative pressure. This device is intended for intermittent potable water service and is not designed for continuous pressure applications.

Operation: Under normal flow conditions, the valve remains open to allow water to pass through the device. If a back-siphonage condition occurs, the atmospheric vent opens to break the vacuum and prevent contaminated water from being drawn back into the potable water supply.
