The Flomatic Glen-Flo® GF800E GFHB8 3/4" hose connection vacuum breaker is designed to prevent back-siphonage of polluted water into potable water systems. This vandal-resistant device is intended for installation on hose connections such as hose bibbs, service sinks, and laundry tubs.

Operation: Under normal flow conditions, the vacuum breaker allows water to pass freely. If a back-siphonage condition occurs, the internal air inlet opens to break the vacuum and prevent contaminated water from being drawn back into the potable water supply.

Construction: Constructed with a durable brass body and corrosion-resistant internal components. A break-away set screw provides tamper-resistant protection once installed.

Applications: Hose bibbs, service sinks, laundry tubs, and similar hose-connected fixtures where protection against back-siphonage is required.
